Depart from Phnom Penh for Kampot. En route, stop at Tonle Bati and visit Ta Prohm temple (12-13 centuries) and Yeay Peau temple (12th century). Visit the Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century). Visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Takeo.

Afternoon, visit the Independence Monument, the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.

IN-CADV5 : Phnom penh - ratanakiri - phnom penh(5 days/4 nights)
Depart Phnom Penh by 4x4 to Kompong Cham. Drive to Chhup, the biggest rubber plantation in the country, established during the French colonial time by the French tire maker Michelin. Continue to Snuol where you will have lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Sen Monorom, the province capital of the Mondolkiri province with scenery and a climate quite unlike anywhere else in the country. Arrival in Sen Monorom in the late afternoon
IN-CADV6 : Veun khan – ratanakiri – kratie - kompong cham - phnom penh -siem reap (11 days/10 nights)
Customs and immigration formalities at Veun Khan (Laos-Cambodia border). Welcome by your guide at Cambodian side and departure by boat to Stung Treng (1½ hours navigation by speed boat).
Note: Currently it is not possible to obtain Cambodian visa upon arrival at this border! Guests arriving at Veun Khan border must apply for Cambodian visa at an Embassy or Consulate abroad prior to arrival!
Arrive in Stung Treng and lunch at local restaurant.
IN-CADV7 : Phnom penh - ratanakiri - phnom penh (4 days/3 nights)
Transfer from hotel to Phnom Penh International Airport for a domestic flight to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri, nicknamed “ The Red City” because of the omnipresent laterite. Lunch at Terres Rouges Lodge. Leave in a jeep on a bumpy road for the discovery of the surrounding waterfalls. Teuk Cha Ong is the most impressive of them. Next to the waterfall of Okatchagn is a hill tribe village with elephants which may be observed in the forest. Dinner and accommodation at Terres Rouges Lodge (14 rooms only).
IN-CADV8 : Phnompenh - Ratanakiri (3 days/2 nights)
Transfer from hotel to Phnom Penh International Airport for a domestic flight to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri, nicknamed “ The Red City” because of the omnipresent laterite.Transfer to Terres Tourges Lodge (superb house made of precious wood located by a lake and in the middle of one acre of garden). Lunch at Terres Rouges Lodge.
